4. tansen - A city to relax in

We will continue to the town of Tansen. Visiting this town is not particularly common, but still a must on your Nepal adventure. With its quiet charm and lingering atmosphere, Tansen gives you a chance to take a breath. In Tansen you will hardly find accommodations like hotels. The city offers so-called homestays, where you can get closer to the culture and traditions of the Nepalese people. Walking through sweet alleys and looking at enchanting views are also not to be missed! 

5. Lumbini - One of the holiest places in the world 

From a not so common city to visit, we now move on to one of the most important and religious city of Nepal. In Lumbini Buddha was born, therefore this place is considered one of the most sacred places in the world. One of the most important and spiritual buildings is the "Lumbini Garden". In front of the Lumbini Garden there is an important tree, the Bhodi tree. Pilgrims or monks meet at this tree to pray together. Theoretically, you can see the Lumbini Garden as a temple complex. Here you will find more than one temple, the country temples. So if you also want to be drawn into the spell of spirituality, or feel the flair of this religious site, then you should definitely visit the holy place! 

6. barauli - the village of customs

From the big cities of Nepal you will go to the south, to a small village called Barauli. In this small village you will get very close to the culture of the Nepalese. Here, cultural customs are fully lived out and you are right in the middle of it! You will be immersed in the traditional world of dances, clothing and much more. Barauli is definitely a place you will want to come back to and never forget!

7. chitwan national park - the animal rich variety

To recover a little from the city fever, it is definitely worth visiting the Chitwan National Park. There you are in the middle of nature, can experience a safari and have a first-class perspective on the wildlife of Nepal. With a little luck, you'll get to see rhinos, leopards, jackals, red dogs, sloth bears or even a Bengal tiger on your safari adventure. Definitely a must-have on your Nepal adventure!

8. Patan (Lalipur) - the kingdom in Kathmandu valley

Patan, or also known as Lalipur, is one of the former three royal cities in the Kathmandu Valley. The city hides many traditions and unforgettable culture. 

You can visit Durbar Square, which is the name of the square in front of the former royal palace. It houses the Buddhist and Hindu temples under one roof. You can also visit the Patan Museum or the Temple of a Thousand Buddhas. 9. bhaktapur - the gateway to a foreign world

Furthermore, the city has medieval alleys, squares, traditional wooden art and carvings. In Bhaktapur you can spend the night adventurously in the monastery and far away from the many impressions also stroll a little in the old town.
