Thonga beach

Thonga Lodge is located in Mabibi, South Africa, in a magnificent setting on Maputaland’s unspoiled front near Lake Sibaya. The lodge is an excellent base for exploring South African places, which have yet to be impacted by heavy tourism. The small-scale Thonga Lodge offers serenity and seclusion as well as one of the rainbow nation’s premier diving and snorkeling spots. This unique stay in gorgeous surroundings was inspired by traditional Thonga fishing villages, and the 12 suites are similarly designed in this way.

Boulders beach

Boulders shore is a unique beach on the Cape Peninsula. It is not a typical one though. A penguin colony has taken up residence on the coast! You are welcome to dive in and observe the penguins from the water, but you must maintain a safe distance. To avoid the crowds, we recommend arriving at Boulders early. Boulders is also close to Simon’s Town, which is well worth a visit.

Sodwana bay beach

Sodwana Bay National Park, part of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, is located between St Lucia and Lake Sibaya. Stunning golden shores can be found here, and the area is particularly well-known for its beautiful coral reefs, which make it one of the rainbow nations greatest diving locations. Many different types of fish, rays, sharks, gigantic turtles, and even whales can be seen. Don’t like diving? Then relax and enjoy the beautiful shore and various water activities offered.

Clifton beach

The four areas of Clifton Beach are divided by enormous boulders. Swimming is feasible here, however the Atlantic Ocean can be quite cold. The advantage of their placing is that they are virtually always wind-free due to their placement in the bay. The area is particularly popular with residents, and each shore has its own crowd. The first attracts both swimmers and surfers, while the second has numerous sand volleyball courts. According to locals, the third one is the most gay-friendly. Finally, the fourth one is thought to be the greatest for a peaceful afternoon with the family.

Camps bay

The beach at Camps Bay is a popular destination in Cape Town. The view of Lion’s Head and the Twelve Apostles from this area is spectacular. Camps Bay is Cape Town’s wealthiest neighbourhood. There are numerous restaurants and bars in this area. This place’s downside is that it is frequently crowded. Furthermore, when the wind blows in the city, the wind at Camps Bay blows twice as hard.
