Montenegro is almost certainly not a destination that most vacationers have already visited. However, it is absolutely worth a trip. Therefore, we would like to explain in this article why it is worth traveling to Montenegro. 

First of all, a few facts about Montenegro. The country is located on the southeastern Adriatic coast and borders Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Croatia. There are about 622,000 people living in the country and the Euro is the commonly accepted currency. After being part of Yugoslavia for a long time, Montenegro became independent again on June 3, 2006. The capital is Podgorica.
