Be excited to hear numerous mystical stories about the city and the underground tunnel system. We will end our Belgrade tour with refreshment in the wine lagoon. After that, our journey continues towards Topola, stopping on the way for an optional lunch and enjoying the view from Ljublic panoramic hill. Day 3: A traditional Serbian day and bear safari (Tara National Park)
Good morning Kablar! Today we will start our day with a traditional Serbian breakfast, which we will prepare together with our hostess. Then we will walk the short way to the viewpoint and enjoy a few minutes of silence before we will take a short hike (about 4 km) in the surroundings, descending into the Ovcarko-Kablarska gorge and visiting the Nikolja monastery. After a small refreshment in the monastery, we will make our way back to our village to help the residents with their work. Depending on the season, our tasks consist of milking cows, picking various fruits and vegetables, and preparing lunch together. Afterwards, our journey continues towards Tara National Park. Here we will have our next adventure - bear watching. There are about 60 bears in the national park and Tara is one of the most important habitats for brown bears in Europe. The bears here are protected species and there are only 2 shelters from which you can watch them feeding. During this experience we will be accompanied by a ranger who will drive us to the shelters in a jeep.

Day 4: Cultural highlights of Serbia (Saravejo)
After the first part of the bear safari, the second part follows today early in the morning. Do you recognize some of the brown bears? After that we will have breakfast together and then drive towards Bosnia. In the town of Visegrad on the Drina River, we will visit the Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Andrićgrad district. After an optional lunch, we will continue towards Bosnia's capital Saravejo, where we will check into our accommodation, have some free time and end the day with dinner together at the hotel.

Day 5: Excursion to the past of Serbia (Saravejo)
After breakfast, we will take a short drive to the Vrelo Bosne nature reserve, where the springs of the Bosna River are located at the foot of Igman Mountain. During our subsequent visit to the "Tunnel of Hope" we will briefly review the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 1990s. This tunnel was built between March and June 1993 during the siege of Sarajevo in the midst of the Bosnian war to connect the cut-off city with the airport. We will then visit the center of the city, Bascarsija, where we can feel the Ottoman spirit at every turn. Here we can try the world famous "Sarajevski cevap", a traditional Bosnian dish in probably one of the best cevap places in the world. Strengthened we drive back to our hotel to review the day in peace.

Day 6: Today gets wild (Budva)
After checking out we start a beautiful panoramic drive through the heart of Durmitor National Park. After some stops during the trip we start the highlight of our day: a rafting tour on the Tara River. Starting point of the adventure is in Scepan Polje, from there a transfer will take us to the starting point of the tour. After 22 rapids and cooling down in the cold water of the Tara and admiring small waterfalls, our rafting tour ends back in Scepan Polje. On our way to the Adriatic coast of Montenegro we will make a stop in the village of Trubjela. Here we will visit a beekeeper who will tell us a lot about bees and traditions of his family. After some drinks and homemade food we will continue our trip to Budva, where we will spend the night. If you feel like it, you can spend the evening on a pub crawl in the lively city center.

Day 7: A hike with a visit to the honey farm (Podgorica)
After breakfast we check out and head towards Lovcen Mountains. Our hike today will start from Ivanova Korita plain at 1240 meters above sea level. Our route will take us through beautiful beech forests with breathtaking views of the coast. On the top of the mountain we will have a chance to visit an Austro-Hungarian fortress. We will also walk through the old village of Dolovi, also called the "Sunshine Village". After a total length of 9.5 kilometers and an ascent and descent of 350 meters, we deserve a refreshment in a local restaurant! After that, we will take a trip to the second highest peak Lake Peak to visit one of the most important cultural and historical monuments of Montenegro. Afterwards, we will visit one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Montenegro, overlooking the Bay of Kotor, before continuing towards the village of Bajice. At the honey farm in Bajice we will visit an old family house of the local family and have a delicious lunch prepared from traditional products. Besides the delicious food and a great honey liqueur, we will learn a lot about the importance of beekeeping. After that we will continue our journey passing the old royal capital Cetinje until we will reach the capital of Montenegro.

Day 8: Rare bird species on a beautiful sea day (Podgorica)
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we start our journey towards Virpazar, where we have the whole day to explore the beauty of the largest lake of the Balkan Peninsula. After a short stop in Virpazar, a medieval fishing village and market place, we will start our approximately one and a half hour boat ride. We will enjoy the beautiful scenery, look out for some rare bird species and, weather permitting, go for a swim. For refreshment, our host will serve us delicious homemade donuts and drinks on the boat. Before continuing the trip to the winery, we will stop at an old fishing lake and an important place in Montenegrin history - Rijeka Crnojevica. Since the whole region is known as a wine region, we will take the opportunity to visit one of the local family wineries in one of the villages around the lake. We will get in touch with a family, get acquainted with the tradition of wine making and learn about the family history. We will be able to taste different types of wine, but also brandies, liqueurs and local products of the region. After our visit we will go back to our accommodation in Podgorica, where we will finish the evening.

Day 9: One of the last primeval forests in Europe (Belgrade)
After our joint breakfast we will drive towards the Biogradska Gora National Park and visit one of the three remaining primeval forests in Europe. Crowned by the beautiful lake Biogradsko, this short hike (about 1.5 hours) is one of the highlights of northern Montenegro. Look forward to amazing vegetation and ancient trees, some of which are more than 400 years old, before we will continue towards the Serbian border. We will make a short stop for a break and optional lunch in another beautiful natural area called Zlatibor before continuing our drive to the Serbian capital. Once here, we will spend our last evening together with a delicious meal and review all our experiences.
