You have the option to book your flights separately or contact us quickly and easily via WhatsApp for a personal flight quote. If you book your flight separately, please plan your arrival so that you will arrive at the airport by afternoon to start our Island adventure together in the evening.

Please remember to arrange a ride from the airport to the city. Reykjavik Airport is about 3,5 km and Keflavik Airport is about 50 km from the hotel. We will be happy to help you arrange a transfer.

After arriving at the airport, you will first head to the young and cosmopolitan capital of Iceland. At our first dinner together we all get to know each other and get a short introduction from our guide about our plans for the next days. With a pub crawl we let the first evening, full of joy for our common adventure, slowly come to an end.

Your highlight today: Marvel at the water spouting geysers

When you think of Iceland, you immediately think of volcanoes and geysers. Our first destination is also Thingvellir National Park, located in the middle of a lava field. Here we marvel at Iceland's unique landscapes for the first time. Afterwards we discover steaming, water-spouting geysers. At the Geysir Service Center you will have the opportunity to have lunch before we continue in the afternoon to other natural beauties that we should not miss. Among them: Gullfoss, translated as the "golden waterfall". In the evening of the first full day of our Iceland tour, we will have the opportunity to enjoy a dinner together and talk about the eventful day.

Your highlights today: Watch thundering waterfalls, discover an old plane wreck and hike across black sand beaches

Today we start with a short hike to the impressive Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss and Kvernufoss waterfalls. After a short lunch break, we will take the bus to an extraordinary photo opportunity, an old US Navy plane wreck, located in the middle of a lonely, black sand desert. In the very south of Iceland, right next to the small fishing village of Vík í Mýrdal, is another highlight of our tour: the black sand beach, Reynisfjara. Huge basalt rocks embedded in deep black sand, together with the sea, offer a great panorama.

After this eventful day full of new impressions we drive back to the accommodation. In a well-equipped kitchen here you have the opportunity to cook something for dinner. How about fermented shark, also called hákarl, one of the national dishes of Iceland?

Your highlight today: Explore Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon

Today, Vatnajökull National Park is on our list. This is one of Iceland's three national parks and gets its name from the glacier of the same name, Vatnajökull, which is located entirely within the grounds of the national park. Together we explore the Fjadrargljufur Canyon, formed by ice age, volcanic eruptions and water, a breathtaking sight. The up to 100 m deep, densely vegetated rock formations are flowed through by crystal clear glacial water.

After a short lunch we go to the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon in the afternoon. It is one of the most famous sights in the country. But we also don't miss the popular Diamond Beach, whose ice blocks on the sand resemble diamonds glittering in the sun. In the evening we all return together to our guesthouse for dinner.

Your highlights today: Visit a small Viking village and discover the surroundings of the Wilderness Center

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we drive along the east coast in the morning to a mountain that is still little known but all the more spectacular, the Eystrahorn. This is part of the Krossasnesfjall mountain range and is one of the few mountains made of gabbro, a dark, jagged lava rock. With a bit of luck, we have the chance to meet seals, which are hanging out on the beaches here.

In the afternoon, a breathtaking drive through the picturesque East Fjords of Iceland awaits us, including passing a small Viking village. We spend the rest of the day at the Wilderness Center, located in a picturesque Icelandic valley in the middle of nowhere. If you feel like it, you can go on a short hike on your own from here, before we end the day in the evening together with the operator Denni, sitting comfortably around the campfire.

Your highlights today: Explore Studlagil Canyon, marvel at Godafoss waterfall and bathe in hot springs

For today we have planned an unforgettable tour to Studlagil Canyon. The reddish shining basalt columns form a great contrast to the turquoise shimmering Jökla River, which flows through the canyon. Here we get a very special feeling of being on another planet. The high, straight rock edges of the canyon (see photo) create this unreal experience. After visiting the canyon we go to the Dettifoss waterfall, which is one of the most water rich waterfalls in Europe. Masses of water plunge here from a height of 45 m into the depths!

We will continue to the Nature Baths, where we can relax a bit before exploring Lake Mývatn in the afternoon. Our tour then takes us to Godafoss Waterfall, also known among Icelanders as the Waterfall of the Gods. Finally, we head to the coastal town of Akureyri, where we will spend tonight.

Your highlights today: Experience a whale watching tour and explore the Grábrók crater

With 23 different species of whales, Iceland is the perfect place to catch a glimpse of the giants of the seas. So we definitely won't miss the chance and venture on a whale watching tour in Dalvík. Afterwards, the route continues to one of the largest volcanic craters in the country, Grábrók. Towards late afternoon we will make our way back to Reykjavik to end the last evening of our Iceland group tour together with a few drinks.

The last day of your Iceland tour has arrived. After a final breakfast at the hotel, you will head back to the airport to catch your flight home or to your next destination. The transfer to the airport is not included, but we are happy to help you with the organization!
