Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to the first hotel of your trip in Yerevan. Here you can rest and look forward to your adventure before our Armenia tour really starts. If you arrived early, you can use the time to see a bit of the capital. In the evening we will sit down to enjoy our first dinner together and get to know each other.
Your highlight today: Taste Armenian wine
Early in the morning we will set off for Armenia's wine region. On the way there we will pass a monastery from where we will catch a breathtaking view of Mount Ararat. Arriving in Areni we will visit a winery and enjoy a sip of the locally produced wine.
Then we will continue towards Lake Sevan, not missing the impressive Vardenyats mountain pass on the way.
Your highlight today: Take part in a cooking workshop
Today we will meet two young ladies who are rediscovering Armenian cuisine for themselves. They will tell and teach us something about Armenian cuisine in a private workshop. After we have our delicious lunch here and have a look at Dilijan, we will continue our journey. The final destination for today is Lastiver village.
Your highlight today: Experience an adventure in the Lastiver forest
Today is meant for outdoor activities. Whether a hike in the depths of the Lastiver forest, a tour on horseback or crazy zipline flights, there should be something for everyone. In the evening we will enjoy a wonderful meal of locally produced food before ending the last hours of the day with local wine and cheese around a campfire.

On our way to the Lori region we will pass picturesque scenes. Once there, we will have the opportunity to rest after lunch and prepare for a fabulous evening. For the extra adventurous, there is also the option of swimming in a nearby beautiful lake or going a short hike.
Your highlight today: Immerse yourself in Yerevan city life
It's time to hit the road again and continue our Armenia tour. Back in Yerevan, begin the day of urban adventures: sightseeing, museums, wine bars and, of course, city life. Get to know the post-Soviet capital and its unusual charm together with locals and enjoy dinner at a popular restaurant.
Your highlights today: Explore the Pagan Temple and learn to make Lavash Bread
We go on a short tour to the last Pagan temple of Armenia, from where we can admire Azat river gorge. We continue towards the small village of Garni, where we can observe the art of making an Armenian lavash bread. With our own lavash we will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant with a beautiful view.
After lunch we drive back to Yerevan, where we sit down for a last dinner in the evening. Before our Armenia group tour comes to an end, we share our impressions and think back to the unique experience.
A last morning in Armenia. After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we head back to the airport where our adventure comes to an end.

Do you offer trip cancellation insurance?
Should you not be able to fly for health reasons, there is a Travel cancellation insurancee.g. from HanseMerkur, which (also) covers a covid infection before the start of the trip.
What is the minimum number of participants for the trip?
This trip has a minimum number of 2 guests. If this number is not reached 30 days before the scheduled date, TripLegend has the right to cancel the trip.
Can I arrive earlier or leave later?
You can individually plan a few days in advance or add a few days to all our trips, as it suits you best. Of course, we are also happy to give you tips for accommodation!
With whom do I share a double room?
By default, you will share a double room with a person of the same sex, but you are also welcome to book a single room.
What does your collaboration with local partners look like in concrete terms?
For us, supporting locals means working only with local guides, staying in local, family-run hotels, and eating at local restaurants. We often have a social/environmental cause that we incorporate into our trips (from volunteering at a wildlife rescue center in Namibia to the support of Buddhist monks in Nepal in their daily work or visiting a school in a Soviet ghost town in Kyrgyzstan and bringing soccer balls, books, pens, etc.).
