You have the option to book your flights separately or to contact us quickly and easily via WhatsApp for a personal flight quote. If you book your flight separately, please plan your arrival so that you arrive at the latest in the afternoon to start our Costa Rica adventure together in the evening.

After your arrival you can either organize a transfer yourself or through us, which will take you to your first accommodation. There you will be welcomed together with your fellow travelers by your guide, who will be happy to give you tips for a nice restaurant to start the first evening of your Balkan adventure.

Your highlight today: Explore the tunnel systems of Belgrade

After the first breakfast together, our Balkan tour will start with a tour of the capital of Serbia. Here we will visit some exciting places, such as the underground of Kalemegdan Fortress. Be excited to hear numerous mystical stories about the city and the underground tunnel system. We will end our Belgrade tour with refreshment in the wine lagoon.

Then our journey continues towards Kablar, where we check into a rural household, just a short walk from one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the country. We will end the evening with a leisurely dinner in the village.

Your highlights today: Experience Serbian village life in Kablar and go on bear safari

Today we will start our day with a traditional Serbian breakfast, which we will prepare together with our hostess. Afterwards we will go for a short hike (about 4 km) in the surroundings, descending into the Ovcarko-Kablarska gorge and visiting the Nikolja monastery. Back in the village we will make ourselves useful and help for example milking cows, picking fruits or cooking.

Afterwards we continue towards Tara National Park. Here is our next adventure - a bear watching. There are about 60 bears in the national park and Tara is one of the most important habitats for brown bears in Europe!

Your highlights today: Discover brown bears and explore Sarajevo

After the first part of the bear safari, the second part follows early in the morning today. Do you recognize some of the brown bears? After that we will have breakfast together and continue towards Bosnia. In the town of Visegrad on the Drina River we will visit the Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Andrićgrad district.

We will then continue towards Bosnia's capital Sarajevo, where we will check into our accommodation, have some free time and end the day with dinner together at the hotel.

Your highlights today: Explore the Vrelo Bosne nature area and learn more about the history of Bosnia

After breakfast, we will head to the Vrelo Bosne nature reserve, where the springs of the Bosna River are located at the foot of Igman Mountain. Then we will visit the "Tunnel of Hope" - it was built between March and June 1993 during the siege of Sarajevo in the middle of the Bosnian war to connect the cut-off city with the airport.

After this excursion into the past, we will visit the center of the city, Bascarsija, where we will taste the world famous "Sarajevski cevap", a traditional Bosnian dish in probably one of the best cevap places in the world. Strengthened, we return to our hotel to end the day at leisure.

Your highlights today: Experience a rafting tour and meet a local beekeeper

After checking out we start a beautiful panoramic drive through the heart of Durmitor National Park. After some stops during the trip we start the highlight of our day: a rafting tour on the Tara River, where we will pass 22 rapids and many small waterfalls.

On our way towards the Adriatic coast of Montenegro we will stop at a beekeeper in Trubjela, who will tell us a lot about the little yellow helpers. After a few drinks and homemade food we will continue our journey to Budva. If you feel like it, you can spend the evening with a pub crawl in the lively city center.

Your highlights today: Enjoy wonderful views and visit a local honey farm

After breakfast we set off towards the Lovcen Mountains to explore the area on a hike. Our route leads through beautiful beech forests with breathtaking views of the coast, past an Austro-Hungarian fortress and through the "sunshine village" Dolovi. After the hike and a little refreshment, an excursion to the second highest peak Lake Peak is on the agenda to visit one of the most important cultural and historical monuments of Montenegro.

Continuing towards Bajice, we won't miss the view of the Bay of Kotor before we will visit a local honey farm and enjoy our lunch on site. In addition to the delicious food and a great honey liqueur, we will learn quite a bit about the importance of beekeeping. Afterwards, we will continue our journey past the old royal capital Cetinje until we will reach the capital of Montenegro.

Your highlights today: Explore Skadar lake and taste local wine

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we will start our journey towards Virpazar, where we will have the whole day to explore the beauty of Skadar Lake. We will enjoy the beautiful landscape during a boat ride, look out for rare bird species and, weather permitting, go for a swim.

Before continuing the drive to the winery, we will stop at an old fishing lake and an important place in Montenegrin history - Rijeka Crnojevica. Since the whole region is known as a wine region, we will take the opportunity to visit one of the local family wineries in one of the villages around the lake. We will be able to taste different types of wine, but also brandies, liqueurs and local products of the region.

Your highlight today: Hike in one of the last primeval forests of Europe

After our joint breakfast we will drive towards the Biogradska Gora National Park and visit one of the three remaining primeval forests in Europe. Crowned by the beautiful lake Biogradsko, this short hike (about 1.5 hours) is one of the highlights of northern Montenegro. Look forward to amazing vegetation and ancient trees, some of which are more than 400 years old, before we will continue towards the Serbian border. Before reaching Belgrade, we will stop at the Zlatibor Nature Reserve for an optional lunch. In the evening it is already time for our last dinner together!
