Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed at the exit by our coordinator Aracely. After a short stop at the hotel to freshen up, our tour starts!
You will meet your fellow travelers for the next 14 days as well as your first guide on a first sightseeing tour of Lima by night. First stop is the water and light show at Parque de La Reserva. Let the show enchant you! Continue towards LarcoMar, where you can choose a cozy restaurant for your first dinner together.
After an exciting first evening, we head back to the hotel with anticipation for the adventures ahead.

Your highlight today: Boat trip in Paracas and action in Huacachina

Our first full day in Peru starts early, as there is a lot on the agenda today! From our accommodation, our shuttle will take us to the first stop in Paracas - Las Islas Ballestas. Here we will take a boat tour where you will have the chance to see the local wildlife, which includes seals, sea lions, pelicans, Humboldt penguins and guano birds. Our second stop is Ica - Huacachina, a beautiful lagoon in the middle of the oasis. Here you will have the opportunity to ride buggies through the desert or try your hand at sandboarding. After this exciting desert adventure and a short lunch, we will continue to our last stop for the day - the small village of Las Brujas de Cachiche, where we will trace the legend behind a village full of witches. Finally, in Nietto Vitivinícola, after learning about the wine and pisco making process, we will head home and after a final dinner and a day full of new impressions, we will fall tired into our beds.

Your highlight today: The Catacombs of Lima

Our last day in Lima - After a leisurely breakfast at our accommodation, today's adventure begins. Today you will get to know the history, architecture and treasures of the capital. Our route will take us from the beautiful neighborhoods of Miraflores and San Isidro to the historic center of Lima. Here we will not only visit palaces and churches, but also get a guided tour of the San Francisco Monastery to walk through the mysterious underground passages of the Lima Catacombs.
In the evening we already start our first domestic flight to our next destination.
We end the evening comfortably in our new accommodation in Tarapoto and go to bed early to be fit for tomorrow.

Your highlight today: Beautiful viewpoints

The early bird catches the worm! - After a rich and strengthening breakfast our next adventure starts. We leave as early as possible, with only the most necessary luggage, for our 3-day hike through the Cordillera Escalera nature reserve. Are you ready for pure nature and a sportive challenge?
In total we will walk 35km with an altitude difference of 1800 meters in the next 3 days. We start with an ascent towards Atun Rumi Chico, where a delicious lunch awaits us. However, before we get to our 1st major destination, we deserve a little breather at a beautiful viewpoint. After our well-deserved refreshment, we will continue for another 15km through the cloud forest. But don't worry, it's only ncoh 150m uphill the rest of the way. Enjoy the connection with nature! In the evening we will reach our small campsite, set up our tent camp and spend the evening snuggled up in our sleeping bags.

Your highlight today: Cooling in the waterfall

We start our second day of hiking with a 2km descent to a beautiful and refreshing waterfall. Here we have the chance to go swimming or just rest a bit before having lunch, overlooking the waterfall. We continue with the last 7km for today. Our destination is the indigenous community of Chirikyacu, where we will also spend the night and end the evening with exciting stories about their culture.

Your highlight today: Art workshop with the local community

Today we start the day with an art workshop with the local women of Chirikyacu. It's amazing what can be made by hand with just a few fabrics! At the end of the workshop there will be a little surprise waiting for you. After lunch together with the community we will hike our last 6 km down to San Roque de Cumbaza, where we will arrive around afternoon. From there we will be taken by car to our next accommodation in Tarapoto - a local host family in the city center will be waiting for us there with open arms and a traditional dinner.

Your highlight today: Action or relaxation at the Blue Lagoon

We start after a relaxed breakfast with our shuttle towards the city of Sauce. On the way, which takes about two hours, we make a first stop to cross the Huallaga River by ferry. Once in Sauce, we will take a one-hour boat ride across the blue lagoon. After a lunch afterwards, you'll have some free time to do as you please! Decide on the spot if you feel like ziplining, a horse tour , kayaking, jet skiing or just relaxing by the lagoon. After another beautiful day, it's back to Tarapoto, where you will have some time tonight to explore the nightlife with your fellow travelers. But before that, it's time to pack your bags! Tomorrow we will continue to our next destination.

Your highlight today: Discover Cusco

After a last breakfast in Tarapoto we continue to the airport. After a short stopover in Lima we reach our last big destination - the mountain city of Cusco. Cusco is located at an altitude of almost 3,400 meters in the middle of the Andes and must not be missed on a Peru trip! You can organize your afternoon according to your wishes. You can explore Cusco on your own and with the tourist ticket, which we provide you, even all entrances are free. But be careful and don't overdo it, your body has to get used to the altitude ;).
Alternatively, you can use the day to rest and just relax comfortably in our accommodation.

Your highlight today: Help at the Rescue Center as a volunteer!

Departure is around 7:30! For us it goes today to the volunteering in the Rescue Center. Our shift starts at 9:00 and lasts until 13:00.

At the Rescue Center, staff and volunteers are dedicated to the rescue and care of abused wild animals or those that have become victims of the illegal animal trade. The main focus of the project is not only to provide a sanctuary for endangered species, but also to educate through the support of volunteers, the population and visitors about the care, protection and conservation of animals and the reasons for species extinction.

At the beginning we get a short tour of the sanctuary and then we are introduced to our tasks, which mainly consist of feeding the animals and cleaning. After our shift we can decide for ourselves if we want to have lunch in the area or go back to Cusco and spend our afternoon there.

Your highlight today: Explore the Sacred Valley

Today the exploration of the Sacred Valley is on the program! We will leave between 07:30 and 08:00. Our first stop will be the Taray viewpoint, from where we will have a breathtaking view of the Sacred Valley. On our way to Pisaq we will stop at the Awana Kancha cultural project to learn more about the techniques and extraction of wool fibers and their processing into world famous garments. Arriving in Pisaq, we will visit the archaeological center and have the chance to visit a handicraft market. After an adventurous morning, we will fortify ourselves with a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba before our onward journey. Our journey will then continue to the lively Inca town of Ollantaytambo, where you will have some free time before we board the train that will take you to Aguas Calientes. There we will now end the evening together, full of anticipation for the day ahead!

Your highlight today: Discover one of the seven wonders of the world

Here we go! After breakfast we will go to the bus stop and take the bus that will take us to one of the wonders of the world - Machu Picchu. Upon our arrival, a professional local guide will take over. The tour lasts about 2 hours and you will still have time to explore the city on your own during your free time in the Inca city and capture these unique moments and views on photos. After this unique experience, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where a delicious lunch will be waiting for us!
Later we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our transfer is already waiting to take us back to Cusco.

Your highlight today: Climb the Rainbow Mountains

Today we will be picked up from our accommodation in Cusco around 06:30. On our way to the starting point of the hike, which takes about 3 hours, we will make a short stop in Checacupe. Once at the starting point, our hike will begin. Up to the highest point at 5100m you will be walking for 1-2 hours depending on your fitness level! Please don't overdo it, at this altitude you will be out of breath pretty fast. But the way is worth it. At the top you will have a view like you never had before. Let yourself be overwhelmed by the colors and the vastness that this mountain range offers.
After enjoying the view, we will return to where the bus is already waiting for us to begin our journey to lunch in the district of Cusipata. After eating our well-deserved refreshments, we will head back to Cusco, arriving around evening. Tonight, make yourselves comfortable at the hotel, or have a relaxing dinner at a restaurant of your choice before tomorrow's last exciting day.

Your highlight today: You have the choice!

Today you can freely organize your day according to your wishes! You have the choice between 3 options. Please choose one option.

Option 1: you enjoy your last day and leisurely explore Cusco on your own.

Option 2(Please book in the store before the trip): You have the chance to participate in a traditional Alpaca Therapy! At 8:00 am you will leave for the Inke town of Chinchero, where you will be warmly welcomed by the locals. You will start your llama and alpaca tour accompanied by traditional musicians along the sacred valley of the Incas. During the tour you will observe the daily activities of the local people and enjoy the breathtaking views. Today you will also learn more about the main function of the Andean camels in the Inca period. They had and still have an essential importance for health, as interaction with the animals conveys peace and soothes the soul, often releasing emotional tensions and giving you a sense of community. In the afternoon we will enjoy a delicious picnic with regional products while enjoying a beautiful view of the Andes. Afterwards, after a stop in the town of Chincheros, we will head back to Cusco.

Option 3: Around 08:30 we start our drive towards the town of Chincheros to visit a Quechua house and learn more about the textile art. We continue to the archaeological center of Moray, north of the town of Maras. Moray is a unique construction of several circular green terraces that served agricultural purposes in Inca times. Our tour will take us to the Salineras de Maras, impressive salt platforms made up of thousands of white wells that look like snow. They have been used for thousands of years, long before the Inca Empire, and are still used by the locals today. After an exciting morning, our tour ends back in Cusco around 14:30.

On your last evening you will have the opportunity to choose a nice restaurant for your farewell dinner, no matter which activity you have chosen. You can end the last evening together and review all your experiences.

Today it is time to say goodbye to your new friends and the great experiences in Peru. You will be brought back to the airport, from where you can either fly home or to another destination of your choice. We look forward to seeing you again on another trip!
