Your Argentina North Guide

Hello, my name is Jorge Pastrana, I was born and raised in Salta 44 years ago. My parents, on the other hand, were born in the Calchaquies valleys, where the climate and mountains are the most beautiful in this region. I worked in a travel agency until 2000, when I decided to work as a tour guide and quit my full-time job in the office. Through this I have met many people from all over the world and have always returned to my parents' home to show this beautiful region. I enjoy climbing, hiking and biking in the mountains - it's the best office I could find in my life. It doesn't matter if we are in the middle of nowhere or in the city, or if we sleep in a tent or in a five-star hotel, good experiences are enjoyed with wine and empanadas. In these 18 years I have experienced many interesting, but also crazy stories. I am sure there are more and I am more than happy to experience them with you!
