Your Greenland Guide

Hey, my name is Jakob! I am originally from Qasigiannguit and have a Danish father and a Greenlandic mother. I lived in Denmark for a while but came back to Greenland where I worked in tourism eventually as a tour guide, coordinator, operations manager and finally COO. It was there that I rediscovered my fascination for the country and have been unable to let go ever since. I throw myself headlong into new challenges and take every opportunity for a new adventure, which has allowed me to experience many things, such as: Sailing alone to Iceland on a sailing dinghy with a famous French navigator, writing translations for two scientists in the northernmost city of Greenland, leading a rescue operation on a cruise ship, sailing fuel and gas to a camp over 1 cm thick ice, and so much more. I love covering Greenland, explorers, and scientific endeavors in the Arctic, and am so excited to show you my beautiful country. See you very soon in Greenland!
