1. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

The name "Bwindi" means "impenetrable", which refers to the dense vegetation and difficult accessibility of the park. It is located in southwestern Uganda and covers an area of 331 square kilometers. The park is one of the few places in the world where mountain gorillas can be found in the wild. Bwindi is home to about half of the world's population of endangered mountain gorillas. The Gorilla Trekking in the park is a unique experience. Besides gorillas, Bwindi is also home to other rare animals. Chimpanzees, lions, elephants and various bird species are among Bwindi's inhabitants.

2. Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in the western part of Uganda and covers an area of 1,978 square kilometers. The park was named after Queen Elizabeth II. It is one of the oldest national parks in Uganda. Queen Elizabeth Park is known for its diverse wildlife. Among them are elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes and over 600 species of birds. The park is home to the Kazinga Channel, which is a popular safari route and features a variety of wildlife on its banks.
